One-Hour CLE offers valuable insights into the latest technologies available for reducing deposition costs and increasing value to clients
Atlanta, GA, September 28, 2017 – Esquire Deposition Solutions, LLC (www.esquiresolutions.com), the nation’s leading provider of court reporting, video, and interpreting services, today announced that following the success of its Continuing Legal Education (CLE) event in Chicago in late July, it will now offer the popular session – which covers the latest advancements in technology to increase client value and lower deposition costs – in major litigation markets across the country.
Esquire’s CLE, titled “Managing Depositions in the Digital World,” earns lawyers one CLE credit and was previously only available as a webinar. The live session aims to help law firms leverage technology across the full deposition process, retain efficiencies and competitive advantages across the litigation cycle, and reduce costs to the client by capitalizing on convenient and easy-to-use tools.
“The corporate legal departments we’re working with are increasingly demanding better value,” said Bryan P. Sugar, partner and co-chair, Intellectual Property & Technology Practice at Lewis Brisbois. “This CLE educated me about available technology that will make me more efficient and productive while offering my clients the same standard of counsel they’ve been accustomed to. The in person format was also very beneficial for networking with peers and sharing digital best practices.”
The complimentary session will be presented by Avi Stadler, General Counsel of Esquire Deposition Solutions and a veteran litigator, and Peter Hare, Esquire’s Director of Product Marketing, who has experience designing legal information management workflow and the development of emerging technology-supported legal support services.
The live CLE will capitalize on the presenters’ breadth of knowledge and provide CLE attendees with the information they need to stay competitive in today’s ever-changing legal landscape. Beginning in 2008, the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) pushed law firms with a Value Challenge to lower costs by 25% while achieving even better outcomes. This CLE aims to help law firms rise to this challenge.
“For years, firms have steadily streamlined document discovery through the use of continuously improving technology,” said Avi Stadler. “Now it’s time to explore technology for deposition scheduling, streaming, recording, exhibit management, and transcript review. These tools are helping early adopter lawyers and law firms work more efficiently, elicit better testimony, do more with that testimony, and give clients more value for their money.”
Esquire’s CLE events will take place at Morton’s The Steakhouse locations in the following cities across the country:
- New York
- Los Angeles
- San Francisco
