Barry Dark

Barry Dark has been Esquire’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) since 2023 and Executive Chairman since 2022. Barry is a 35-year global legal services and technology veteran leading Esquire with a distinguished and proven track record of driving strong enterprise financial results and fostering an inclusive culture focused on high performance and customer service excellence in legal service and financial technology domains. He was named Esquire’s Executive Chairman after Gridiron Capital completed its investment in Esquire in December 2022. Barry works closely with Esquire’s senior leadership team to lead the strategic direction for the company with a focus on key growth initiatives, accelerating the speed of execution through innovation and operational excellence, and delivering on Esquire’s Court Reporter First strategic philosophy. 

Previously, Barry was the CEO and a board member of Legility, a New Law company acquired by Consilio in December 2021 that provided global e-discovery and flexible legal talent services to corporate legal departments and law firms. Prior to working with Legility, Barry held senior executive roles at Fidelity National Information Services (NYSE: FIS), Capco Consulting, and Kordoba GmbH.
