A dedicated Esquire team member is always available to answer questions about job turn-in, invoices, and NetSuite. Our Order Entry Wizard makes turning in jobs easy and fast. We’ve also developed a unique court reporter program to support new reporters, reward our highest-performing reporters, and encourage referrals to Esquire.

Esquire Rewards

At Esquire, we value service providers who Get It Right the first time every time. It is our goal to recognize those who consistently strive to improve their skills and provide exceptional customer service. We honor excellence in the profession by rewarding Court Reporter of the Quarter and Court Reporter of the Year Rewards, as well as other special rewards throughout the year. The selection criteria used are based on the number of jobs taken, on-time turn-in, teamwork, and feedback from clients.

e-gift cards are utilized to reward our reporters for their hard work. A winner is able to customize their reward by choosing from over 100 retailers! Alternatively, a winner can choose to donate their reward to one of over 30 nonprofit organizations.

Mentoring

Starting with a national firm can be intimidating, especially for new court reporters. Our mentoring program eases the transition by pairing new court reporters with more experienced peers during their first few weeks, helping them acquire the knowledge, skills, and expertise crucial to their success. Mentors will proofread new court reporters’ transcripts before submission to ensure their accuracy and complete biweekly progress reports to provide direction for their mentees.

Internships and Externships for Court Reporting Students

Court reporters are required to participate in internship programs to graduate. Shadowing experienced reporters on the job and observing what depositions are really like firsthand are necessary and invaluable steps toward serving depositions successfully as a new court reporter. Learning opportunities include:

  • Handling readbacks
  • Working with attorneys
  • When to stop a proceeding
  • Marking exhibits
  • Submitting transcripts

Experienced court reporters who support mentoring and internship programs are eligible to receive a participation fee.

Data Security - What Every Court Reporter Needs to Know to Safeguard the Record

On-demand, prerecorded webinar. NCRA-approved. Earn 0.10 CEU Credits.

As a “Guardian of the Record,” competent transcription requires court reporters to provide protection for sensitive client information. Court reporters routinely exchange volumes of confidential business and personal information, financial data, trade secrets, and more. With hackers aggressively targeting law firms’ data, we urge you to hold yourself to high security standards.

Esquire is supporting this effort by presenting an informative webinar on “Data Security: What Every Court Reporter Needs to Know to Safeguard the Record.” Please join us for this complimentary, NCRA-approved educational opportunity and receive 0.10 CEU credits.
