Four Industry-Leading Companies Form Innovative Litigation Support Alliance
New York, NY (March 28, 2012) – Four industry-leading companies have founded the Litigation Support Alliance, designed to offer unique benefits to litigation executives and corporate purchasers of litigation support services. The Founding members of the Alliance are Esquire Corporate Solutions, Keais Records Service, LookingGlass Jury Technologies, and Resolute Systems.
“This is an important industry development and offering,” says Taylor Smith, President of CLM Advisors, a consulting group that helped to structure the Alliance. “Our work with corporations and insurance carriers that have even moderately sized litigation portfolios has reinforced how important it is to these organizations to be able to both leverage their economic purchasing power and to offer their law firms and internal users the ease of one-stop shopping for litigation support services.”
The Litigation Support Alliance will initially feature the services offered by these four industry-leading organizations. These include the services necessary for organizations to prepare for, process, predict and resolve litigated matters and claims:
Keais Records Service – National records retrieval and records review services, for both internal claims professionals and law firms, in both subpoena and authorization-based processes, enabling organizations to retrieve and review records more effectively and at lower cost;
Esquire Corporate Solutions – National deposition and court reporting services. Provided through the largest court reporter network in the country, and with more than 50 national offices and 140 corporate programs, Esquire allows organizations to better control both deposition costs and ensure quality work product. Esquire offers litigation executives many tools to help them ensure a successful corporate program, including law firm satisfaction surveys and other performance and utilization metrics that provide unparalleled insight into deposition expenditures.
LookingGlass Online Litigation Technologies – Online litigation research and case outcome prediction services that help litigation managers avoid surprises and predict litigation outcomes, more cost-effectively and easily than traditional research methods; and
Resolute Systems – A national network of approximately 2,800 mediation, arbitration, and ADR professionals that helps organizations to find the best mediator and better manage their existing mediators – all while measuring performance and reducing mediation costs.
The Alliance will offer several benefits to corporate purchasers of litigation services including the ability to schedule or purchase services from a single location and to leverage their purchasing volume more effectively. In addition, each of the Alliance members will offer a shared, best-of-breed implementation methodology, designed to help executives ensure the maximum compliance with their corporate litigation support initiatives. This is critically important to purchasing organizations because it helps to reduce leakage and ensure maximum financial and operational benefit.
